The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 was the sixth season of the popular Twenty20 cricket league, which was launched by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. Shane Watson of Rajasthan Royals was declared the Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance, while Michael Hussey of Chennai Super Kings won the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs in the tournament. The Purple Cap for the most wickets was won by Dwayne Bravo of Chennai Super Kings.
