The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India, which is played every year between March and May. The IPL 2019 was the twelfth edition of the tournament, which was held from March 23 to May 12, 2019.

In IPL 2019, a total of eight teams participated, including Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils).

Mumbai Indians emerged as the champions of the IPL 2019, defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final by one run. This was the fourth time Mumbai Indians won the tournament after their previous victories in 2013, 2015, and 2017.

During the tournament, there were some standout performances by players such as David Warner, who scored 692 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Imran Tahir, who took 26 wickets for Chennai Super Kings.
