The 43 years old Herschelle Gibbs is a former South African cricketer and is considered to be the best fielder to come out of the country after Jonty Rhodes.
On November 1, 2010, Gibbs released his famous autobiography named “To the Point: The No-holds-barred Autobiography”, which sold its first print run of 15000 copies in 5 days. It can easily be said as one of most honest autobiographies by any sportsman, as Gibbs was not afraid of revealing the dark side of South African cricket and his controversial life style as well. He revealed about his sex life, marijuana sessions and many more.
Who doesn't remember the match in the year 2006 where South Africa became the first ever team to successfully chase a total of above 400 runs in the cricket history and the knock of 175 runs by Gibbs chasing the mammoth total set by the Australians of 434 runs in 50 overs in Johannesburg.
Herschelle Gibbs revealed in his autobiography that, "He had been drinking till 1 am with a friend and had a massive hangover by the time he came to bat" and scored 175 runs with 21 fours and 7 sixes and made it his career best high score in ODI cricket.
