Every person at some point in their life want a career, they've wished for. Some people want to make their career after they have completed their further studies but some of the people are interested in the extra activities. Same goes for alot of kids who want to be footballers in future.

We also have heard a lot of Nepali footballers going abroad to earn and feed their family. Why is that? Why is Nepali football struggling?

There are a lot reasons. We have also heard from our former footballer Sagar Thapa who was expelled from Nepal football team because of the match fixing.

He said, "The amount we are being provided isn't even enough for we ourselves."

Recently ANFA increased the salary of Nepali football players by 20%. They are earning NRs. 15,000 per month basically and it will round up to NRs. 18,000 per month by adding all the allowance as well.

Nepotism is the main reason Nepali football team has been struggling and of course many players come from poor background. They have to earn for the family and due to increasing of living expenses, they find it hard to fulfill even their basic needs.

Nepali players are also not in international level due to background of our country and because of it, the future of the players aren't promising. They don't have any other choice but search for better opportunities to earn and make their future secure.

Including everything, I also wish for the Nepal to perform well in International level. As a Nepali football fan, we can wish and only hope to perform well in the international stage. Nepal has never ever once in their life has qualified for World Cup as well. This clearly shows how bad is the situation of Nepali football. And, Nepali fans can do nothing but wish, hope and pray for us to bounce back. Let's see if Nepali football takes any good turn in the coming future.
