On 21st February, the dressing room of the Indian Women's Cricket Team went on celebrating the happiness after the against South Africa in the finals of ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier at P Sara Oval in Colombo.

For Indian Women's the target was 245 runs to win the finals but the match came to a thrilling mode when 9 runs was required from the last over. The last over first delivery was for a 1 run and Poonam Yadav was run out on 7 runs. The next three delivery was dot ball by Letsoalo and Harmanpreet Kaur was facing. Now the Indian Women's requires 8 runs from 2 balls. Harmanpreet hit a six at the deep midwicket on the 2nd last ball and then the target to achieve was 2 runs from 1 ball. Harmanpreet comes down the track and converts the delivery into full toss and taken 2 runs. This was the Indian Women's highest successful run chase in the history. Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 41 runs of 41 balls.

After the match, Harmanpreet said, “To be honest, I was waiting for that ball because that is my strong area. I know like we needed nine runs in the final over and I was going to hit the ball. If we run then we will go for two runs. My partner also did a great job and ran two. It was a total team effort from our side.”
