Whoever is following football these days definetely know who Erling Haaland is. He has become the face of football in recent days breaking records after records and scoring goals for fun. He makes every defence in the world look ugly and always dominates whenever on the field and produces results when his team needs him. Erling Haaland is not just a normal striker who is having a great year but his rise began a long time ago. Ever since his childhood Haaland has been a nightmare for every defender he has faced and that has continued till today in the biggest leagues in world football and he has claimed the title of best football player currently on the world football.

Early Days

Erling would start his footballing journey when he was just 10 years old. He joined his hometown club's academy Bryne FK and did have a good spell at their reserve squad. He would get few minutes to play at the senior team but would never score a goal. But due to his performance he would be transferred to one of the biggest club Molde Fk in Norway where it all really began.

Later on in the 2018 season he would score 16 goals for Molde in 30 matches and was a hot prospect in Norway. After joining Molde he would score 4 goals in 17 minutes against Brann and that moment was when the star was born. Many world class teams were eyeing on him mainly Manchester United but Haaland choose Salzburg as his next destination to take things step by step.

WHERE THE WORLD NOTICED

He scored for Salzburg in his very first game. He then  became the sensational topic after scoring hattrick against Genk in his champions league debut. He is only player in the history of champions league to score a first half debut hattrick. He would go on to score a massive 4 hattricks in just 8 weeks and turned into absolute beast . He went on to score 8 goals in first 5 champions league and made a record yet again becoming the third player to do so. He scored a massive 29 goals that season. He just was a top priority for every big clubs at that moment namely Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Dortmund, etc but he would choose Dortmund as his next club and would join the bundesliga side.

The Beast mode

Erling just showed no mercy and scored a hattrick coming off the bench in his very first game. "Maybe its magic I don't know but its too fantastic debut"- quoted Erling himself in the post match session. He would score another 2 goals in the very next match and was just unstoppable. He scored 44 goals in 40 matches in his first season and would score 86 goals in 89 matches during his Dortmunds's 2 season tenure with 96% scoring rate.

On his way to becoming a legend

It was no surprise that Erling would attract a big money club like Manchester City who had a brilliant sporting project built under a great manager. Erling accepted the offer and would join Manchester City to just add more choas to the Premier League defenders. Scoring goals was a fun activity for him and would yet again take Premier league by storm in the first season. He would score a brace in very first game and would go on to score 3 hattricks in first 3 home games which looks like an unbeatable record. He broke the premier league scoring record and won the golden boot in very first season scoring a massive 36 goals in 35 premier league games. He has already scored 49 goals in 48 games this season with Champions league finals still to play. He is Champions League top scorer and is now in top contention of balon d'or awar as well. Haaland under pep has been totally different and if he continues this form he would go down as a legend of the game as he is making his path to be a legend and has made a lot progress.
