South Africa defeated top T20I ranked Indian team by 7 wickets in the first match of the series at Delhi. South Africa chased down a mammoth target of 212 runs with 7 wickets and 5 balls remaining to take 1-0 lead in the 5 match series.
Rassie van der Dussen smashed 75 runs from just 46 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes. He added an unbeaten partnership of 131 runs with David Miller to guide the visiting team over victory line.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and invited India to bat. India finished on 211/4 from 20 overs.
