A 15 member squad has been announced by South Africa for the first 3 matches of the upcoming 6 match ODI series against India.Faf Du Plesis will lead the South African side with Lungi Ngidi making into the side with his performance in ongoing test series.

Lungi Ngidi bowled brilliantly on his Test debutas he took six wickets in the second innings of the 2nd Test. He was included in the sideas a replacement for the injured Dale Steyn.

The ODI series will start after the completion of ongoing 3 match test series which South Africa have already won. The first ODIwill be played on 1st of February at Durban. The ODI series will be followed by a three-match T20I series.
