The fearless 'Gabbar' of Indian cricket, Shikhar Dhawan is all set to charge with the Yak Attack as one of the biggest signing in the NPL unveils. Nepal's former captain Gyanendra Malla is set to lead the team as a head coach of Karnali Yaks and Sompal Kami is set as a marquee for this season. The international signings from Yaks along with the full squad is right below:

Shikhar Dhawan (IND) :

Yes, he is non other than absolute legend and fearless 'Gabbar' of Indian cricket, Shikhar Dhawan. He has represented Indian cricket team for more than a decade and performed consistently across all formats and conquered all over the world.

Dhawan is a left-handed opening batsman who averages highest i.e. 65.15 in ICC World Cups and Champion Trophies by which he is also known as Mr. ICC. We have been seeing him conquering in the world's biggest league IPL and now he is all set to fire the stage in the inaugural season of Nepal Premier League.

He has over 200 matches played in IPL averaging 35.2 with the strike rate of 127. He has also represented India in 68 T20Is, 167 ODIs and 34 Test matches. He won the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2016. Moreover, he holds the record for hitting most fours in IPL. Although Dhawan had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on August 24,2024, he is all set to fire up the stage of NPL charging with the YakAttacks.

Chadwick Walton (WI) :

Chadwick Walton is a Jamaican right-handed wicketkeeper batsman who has featured in all formats for the West Indies. He has featured in many franchise leagues over the world including the likes of CPL, BPL and PSL.

With almost 200 T20s played over the world, he has contributed more than 3500 runs averaging 22.8 with a strike rate of around 125. He played 4 seasons each in BPL and PSL with the strike rate of 145+ and 10 seasons in CPL with 119 strike rate. Walton is a destructive top-order batsman with lots of experiences to serve for Karnali Yaks in this season of Nepal Premier League.

Hussain Talat (PAK) :

Mohammad Hussain Talat is a Pakistani left-handed batsman and right arm medium fast bowler who made his international debut for Pakistan in April 2018. He is a batting allrounder who currently plays for the Peshawar Zalmi domestically.

Talking about his international career in T20Is, he has featured in 18 matches for Pakistan in which he averages 24.6 with the strike rate of 118 grabbing 4 wickets in 6 innings. Overally, in T20s he has played 169 matches where he averages around 30 with strike rate of 124 and has 58 wickets in his hand.

Babar Hayat (HKG) :

Well, this name is very popular amongst Nepalese cricket supporters as he has been supporting the franchise tournaments in Nepal participating in almost all of the major tournaments organised in Nepal. He is a power hitter from Hong Kong who was born in Pakistan and plays as a right-handed batsman.

Babar Hayat has featured in 79 T20Is in which he averages 29.4 with a decent strike rate of 132 in the international stage. He also has 2 centuries and 10 half-centuries by his name in the international stage having more sixes than that of fours. So, we can expect some big storms from this power hitter at the TU International Cricket Ground this season.
