SAFF U-19: Nepal beat Maldives 4-1

Nepal enter the semi-finals of the SAFF U-19 Championship defeating Maldives. Nepal marched into the semi-finals of SAFF U-19 after defeating Maldives 4-1 in the match at Dashrath Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Nepal has entered the semi-finals as the runners-up of Group 'A'. From group 'A', Pakistan has also entered the semi-final stage by becoming the winner. Samir Tamang scored 2 goals for Nepal.

Similarly, Prashant Laxam and Nirajan Dhami had one goal each. Prashant Laxam scored a goal in the 18th minute for Nepal. Likewise, in the 30th minute of the game, Samir Tamang doubled the lead by scoring an excellent goal. In the 35th minute of the game, both teams were limited to 10 players.

Nepal's Sujan Dangol and Maldives' captain Mohammad Hasan were sent off after receiving a red card. In the 58th minute of the game, Adam Rasheed returned the goal for Maldives. Similarly, in the 88th minute of the game, Nirajan Dhami scored a goal for Nepal to make it 3-1. Similarly, in the injury time of the game, Samir Tamang scored again for Nepal and won easily by 4-1.

Nepal will now play the winner of the group in the semi-finals. Nepal will compete against the winner of the match between India and Bhutan on Monday at 5:30 pm in the semi-finals.
