Paras Khadka Appointed As Ambassador of National Volunteer Nepal

The Nepal Cricket Team skipper captain Paras Khadka has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of the National Volunteer Nepal. On Wednesday, the the National Reconstruction Athority meeting was held at Singhadurbar office for the reconstruction that needed due to earthquake and to make active the youths for the volunteer work Khadka has been appointed.

The National Reconstruction Authority Chief Executive Authorized Dr. Govind Raj Pokharel said, "Because of destruction in the year 2072 due to earthquake, the physical structure is the main requirement so each Nepali should join the program. For the 1st round the Authority has decided to include approx. 1000 volunteer engineer student from the upcoming Friday to the earthquake affected district."

Skipper Paras Khadka said, "For me to be the Goodwill Ambassador of the National Volunteer Nepal is the proud moment."

Khadka will not get any benefit from being an Ambassador. Paras who missed the India Tour due to the surgery, will join the team against Kenya at ICC World Cricket League Championship which will be held at the T.U Ground from 11th March.
