Nepal suffered a 6 wicket loss against Pakistan in the first match of the ACC Emerging Cup Emerging Teams Cup on Monday.

Having won the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl first. Nepal managed 180/9 in the allotted 50 overs. Sunil Dhamala was the top scorer for Nepal with 43 runs while Sharad Veswakar contributed 38 runs.Gulam Musadar from Pakistan picked up five wickets.

In reply, Imam Ul Haq scored an unbeaten century to guide his team to victory. Imran Butt 21 off 44 while Haris Sohail added 17 runs off 29 for his team. Sandeep Lamichhane and Gyanendra Malla took 2 wickets each.
