Pakistan Cricket Board Wants Misbah To Retire

The 42 years old, Misbah-ul-Haq has been retained as captain for the 3 match Test series against West Indies by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan. Pakistan Cricket Board wants Misbah to retire after the tour of West Indies which will be held in March-April.

Chairman Shahryar Khan said, "I have spoken to Misbah and discussed his future. I told him he needs to decide his future. He said he will come back to me after reviewing his form and performance in the PSL. He contracted me last week and told me he was available so I have retained him as captain."

Shahryar Khan further added, "But at the same time it is a fact that during the tour, he will turn 43 and I don’t see him continuing to play on after the tour."

Misbah was asked to think about his future with the Pakistan Cricket Team after the straight losses in Tests against New Zealand and Australia.
