Young Afghans set to battle against the Bengal TigersAfghanistan picked up 17 men squad for the three match ODI series against Bangladesh. The members in Afghanistan squad areAsghar Stanikzai (C), Mohammad Shahzad (Wk), Rahmat Shah, Mirwais Ashraf, Dawlat Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Samiullah Shenwari, Rashid Khan, Hashmatullah Shaidi, Fareed Ahmad, Amir Hamza, Najibullah Zadran, Nawroz Mangal, Naveen-ul-Haq, Karim Janat, Shabir Noori, Ihsanullah.

Three new faces has been picked by the selectors into the Afghanistan 17 men squad -Karim Janat (18 year old), Naveen-ul-Haq (16 year old) and Ihsanullah (18 year old). Ihsanullah captained the U-19 WC held in Bangladesh in 2016 and allrounder Karim Janat was leading scorer for Afghanistan in the U-19 WC scoring 273 runs at an average of 45.50 in just 6 matches and finished in 7th position overall in the highest scoring list.

Shabir Noori who had last played in 2012 has also made a comeback to the national side after a terrific domestic season in 2016.
