Bangladesh U19 team has defeated Nepal U19 by 3 wickets in the first practice match of the tour. Bangladesh chased down the target of 154 runs losing 7 wicketsfrom 39 overs.

After having won the toss, Bangladesh invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal lost Sandeep Sunar (1) cheaply while the other opener Asif Sheikh scored 77 ball 32 with 3 fours to his name. Anil Kumar Sah scored 18 and the skipper Dipendra Singh Airee made 16 while Bhim Sharki scored 28 runs with 2 sixes and 2 fours. Nepal finished with 153/9 from 50 overs. Kazi Anik Islam and Hasan Mahmud picked up 3 wickets each for the Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh in reply lost Pinak Ghosh for 14 and Saif Hasan for 7 runs. But openere Naim Sheikh scored 53 runs and added a crucial partnership with Towhid Hridly to get Bangladesh on track. Towhid Hridly remained unbeaten on 48 runs to finish the game for his side. Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the bowlers for Nepal as he finished with the figures of 4-25 from his quota of 10 overs. Shahab Alam and Pawan Sarraf shared a wicket each.
