Khukuri Challengers T20 Cup to commence Wednesday (with tie-sheets)

The second edition of Khukuri Challenger T20 cup is all set to commence from Wednesday at Mulpani ground. With 20 teams, 40 league matches, 4 quarter finals, 2 semi finals and a final, the tournament becomes a longest one in Nepal. The tournament is held January 24 to February 17 at Mulpani Cricket Ground and TU Stadium (semi-finals and final).
The tournament will be played in league-cum-knockout format where the participating teams are divided into four groups. The top two teams from all pools will make it to the quarter-finals. The top two teams will get Rs 300,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively, while the best player of the tournament will take home Rs 20,000. The best batsman and bowler will be awarded with Rs 10,000 each.
