Test Cricket is known as the best form of cricket and is also considered real cricket. Test Cricket means the real test of player patience and discipline. Every Player dreams to play test cricket for their respective nation.

While T20 Cricket is the shorter format of this game. T20 cricket is one of the mediums to globalize cricket. T20 cricket test players' ability to adapt to the condition in a very short interval of time. We can say it is one step ahead towards the evolution of cricket.

Many cash-rich leagues have been established which are played in this format. And it is pure entertainment for the fans and it also generates the biggest revenue for the boards/franchise.

Now the Question arises, is T20 cricket the only source of entertainment and money? Does, it really kill or affect test cricket? Let's go through this .....

If I have to answer this question, I will say No. Yes, for me T20 cricket is not killing the thrills of test cricket rather than its improving test cricket and making it more result-oriented.

How many times 300 runs are being scored in the 4th innings before the evolution of t20 cricket? Chasing 200+ total in the 4th inning was like climbing a mountain. Now 200+ runs are chased very 8 out of 10 times.

Yes, with 2nd thought, test cricket is best but how often do you see the team going for a target of 280+ in 70 over that too in the fifth day? And the answer is never but recently England did this chased that score in mere 50 over that too in 5th day. Johny Bairstow scored at the brisk rate of 140+ to chase this score.

Another case, we can take is the Headingly test where the heroics of Ben Stokes leads to a milestone which seems impossible. It was just the result of T20 cricket which provides temperament and innovation to batters. You can take the Gabba test too as the example where Pant rewrites the history by breaching the fortress.

If test cricket is a test of player discipline then t20 cricket teaches players to deal with immense pressure. Only 12 nation has test status, around 20 has ODI status and the rest of the country has T20I status. It's also one way to globalize cricket.

The test is mainly about defensive cricket and when the series of wickets fall in succession, the player goes more defensive and that creates extra pressure on the scoreboard but now you can see the player counter-attacking to overcome the pressure as Attack is the best way to defence is taught by T20.

This lets the player perform under the very pressure situation of the game. So they can improve mental as well as technically. Nowadays very few test matches ended as draws compare to when t20 cricket was not introduced.

Recently, Bairstow who created history by winning the match for his country with his knock 136(92) also said its IPL that allowed him to play the best in business. It teaches to go with the situation.

The bottomline is Test cricket is best forms of the game but T20 cricket doesn't hamper it rather boost it up. So every forms of cricket deserve the respect.
