Indian Cricket Team to play the 4 match Test series against the Aussies starting from February 23rd. India had a 19-match unbeaten streak in Test matches and the series against Australia will decide that India can continue their winning streak or not.

International Cricket Council (ICC) will reward $1 million to the Indian Cricket Team if they will win against Australia in the 1st Test match. India will get the reward of $1 million if only they will retain the number one rankings in Test cricket before 1st April, 2017. Winning the 1st Test match against Aussie will regain the status of 1st position in the ICC Test Team Rankings.

Before 2015, the prize money was $5,00,000 but was doubled to $1 million after 2015 to the Top rank team.
