India enforce follow on with Ashwin's 5 wicket haul

Ravichandran Ashwin picked up his 26th five-wicket haul as Srilanka were allout for 183 runs in their first innings of second Test at Colombo. Srilanka has already lost wicket of Upul Tharanga as India enforced follow on with a lead of 439 runs.

India had declared their first innings at 622/9 in their first innings with centuries from Cheteswor Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane. India then restricted Srilanka for 183 runs to enforce the follow on. Niroshan Dickwella was the top scorer for Srilanka with 51 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin was the star with the ball for India as he finished with the figures of 5-69. Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with two wickets each.

Srilanka has started the follow on and already lost Upul Tharanga. Srilanka were battling out at 96/1 while this news was being prepared.
