Kathmandu Gurkhas picked their quota of 10 domestic players in the previously organized NPL Auction including the Valentine's Boy Karan KC as a marquee player and Basant Shahi as their head coach for the inaugural season of Nepal Premier League. The announcement of overseas players following the guidelines or restrictions provided by the ICC is almost completed where Kathmandu Gurkhas team management has announced the following four international stars:

Gerhard Erasmus (NAM)

Gurkhas announced the signing of the Namibian captain and 2022 ICC Associate Player of the Year, Merwe Gerhard Erasmus on October 25 who is currently on the number 10 spot in the ICC T20I allrounder ranking.

Erasmus is a right handed batsman and a right arm offbreak bowler who has played for top franchises over the world like Montral Tigers, Gulf Giants and Toronto Nationals. He averages exceptional 32.43 runs in the T20Is scoring 1557 runs in 63 innings. Not only that, he provides a more than decent services off the bowling with 53 wickets in 44 innings with an economy of 5.52. The Gurkhas team management must me more than happy to have servese of this beast allrounder.

Michael Levitt (NED)

Michael Levitt is a Dutch top order right-handed batsman known for his power hitting and consistent performance in T20 Internationals format. He has the ability to bowl right arm fast bowling whenever provided the responsibility too.

Levitt has featured in 17 T20Is where he has scored more than 500 runs averaging about 37 runs with an amazing strike rate of 145. Not only this excellent batting display, he has picked a couple of wickets in 3 innings where he had been brought to bowling duties. This phenomenal 21 years old young cricketer who is also in the 31st position in T20Is amongst batter is going to play for Gurkhas in the inaugural season of the Nepal Premier League.

Stephen Eskinazi (ENG)

Stephen Sean Eskinazi was born to an English-born mother and a Zimbabwe-born father in South Africa. He is a middle order right-handed batter and an occasional wicketkeeper who plays for Middlesex and the Perth Scorchers. He holds British and Australian citizenship.

Stevie is a powerful batter with lots of experiences in T20s having played 110 matches, scoring 3000+ runs at an average of phenomenal 32 at amazing strike rate of 140. He has 21 half-centuries and a century in T20 format. By siging him, we can expect powerful storms in the Gurkhas lineup this season.

Dan Douthwaite (ENG)

Daniel Alexander Douthwaite is an English allroounder, known for powerful hitting and clutch wickets who bats right-handed and bowls right arm medium fast. He bowls wicket-to-wicket medium fast bowling and is a handy lower-middle order batsman who has featured in leagues like Vitality Blast and The Hundred.

Douthwaite has 57 wickets by his name in 62 matches in T20s whose bowling average is 26.73 and economy is 5.72 runs per over. To add up, he can bat at lower middle order in which he bats at the strike rate of 135 and averages 17 while batting. He is a great allrounder added up to the Gurkhas family.
