England deny India a clean sweep despite Suryakumar century

However, India have won the three-match T20I series 2-1. Chasing a victory target of 216 for victory, India scored 198 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allocated 20 overs.
India's Surya Kumar Yadav played a brilliant century innings of 117 runs off 55 balls with 14 fours and six sixes. This is his first international century.
India needed 41 runs in the last 12 balls to win. Moeen Ali bowled wide, four and six followed by yet another wide in the 19th over. The game became interesting after Surya hit a four to bring the equation down to 25 runs from 9 balls.

India's chances of victory were dashed when Suryakumar was caught by Phil Salt in the 5th ball of the 10th over.
This is the biggest innings for India in T20I after Rohit Sharma's score of 118 runs against Sri Lanka in 2017. Surya hit a four off David Willy in the third ball of the 17th over to complete his century off 48 balls.
Despite a poor start, Surya Kumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer shared 119 runs for the fourth wicket. Shreyas Air was dismissed for 28 off 23 balls with two sixes.
Fast bowler Reece Topley dismissed opener Rishabh Pant for 1 in the first ball of the second over. Virat Kohli was dismissed for 11 off extra cover in the fourth ball of David Wiley's third over. Kohli couldn't break out of his poor form with the bat as he hit 1 four and 1 six in his 6 ball stay at the crease.
India were 31-3 in 5 overs when Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 11. After that, Shreyas Iyer and Surya Kumar Yadav made a great comeback with a century partnership.
Shreyas was caught by Buttler off Topley in the first ball of the 16th over before India lost two more wickets in a row. Dinesh Karthik was out for 6 and Ravindra Jadeja for 7.
England's Reece Topley took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs. David Wiley took 2 wickets for 40 runs in 4 overs. Chris Jordan took 2 wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs. Richard Gleeson and Moeen Ali shared a wicket each.
Earlier, after winning the toss in Nottingham, England lost seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 215 runs. England's Dawid Malan top-scored with 77 off 39 balls with six fours and five sixes.
Liam Livingstone remained unbeaten on 42 off 29 balls with four sixes. For the fourth wicket, Malan and Livingstone shared 84 runs off 43 balls.
Captain Jos Buttler was bowled out for 18 off Avesh Khan. Jason Roy was caught by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant for 27 in the first ball of the eighth over off Umran Malik. Roy was dismissed for 27 off 26 balls with one four and two sixes.
Young batsman Harry Brook was dismissed for 19 off 9 balls with three fours. Chris Jordan remained unbeaten on 11 off 3 balls with 1 four and 1 six.
India spinner Ravi Bishnoi took 2 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs. Harshal Patel took 2 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs. Umran Malik took 1 wicket for 56 runs in 4 overs. Avesh Khan took 1 wicket for 43 runs in 4 overs.
India had won the first match by 50 runs and the second match by 49 runs. Now there will be a series of three ODI games. The first game will be on Tuesday.
