Biratnagar Looking Strong with Guptill & Ilyas Signings

The former Irish international allrounder Kevin O'Brien has been announced as a head coach for Kings in the inaugural season of NPL.
With these signings, it is surely going to boost up the squad with top quality experiences and performances to be served. These are the four international signings announced by the Biratnagar Kings team management through their social media handles.
Martin Guptill (New Zealand)
Martin James Guptill is one of the greatest T20 batsman who is a former Kiwi opener batsman who played in all formats and has over 100 T20Is appearances specially. He has a double century in the ICC ODI World Cup in his name.
Guptill has played for more than 12 franchises including the likes of Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in the IPL, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents in CPL, Karachi KIngs, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators in the PSL and Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
With an average of 31.8 runs and strike rate of 135.7 in T20Is from his international career from 2009 to 2022, Guptill has more than 170 T20I sixes and over 3500 T20I runs for New Zealand. He is a 38 year old right handed batsman who has great ability to deal with both the pacers and spinners which makes him a very powerful batsman. He is in a great shape carrying his form from the recent PSL season.
Aqib Ilyas (Oman)
Oman national cricket team captain Aqib Ilyas is all set to represent Biratnagar Kings in the inaugural season of Nepal Premier League. He is the younger brother of Adnan Ilyas who also played for the Oman national cricket team.
Aqib Ilyas is a right-handed top-order batsman and a right arm spinner. He bowls legspin to right handed batsmen, offbreaks to left handed ones and can deceive batsmen with beautiful googlies too.
With a strike rate of more than 120 and averaging more than 27 runs in the T20I format in batting, Ilyas also provides quality bowling who has 47 wickets in his hand on 56 matches and 37 innings.He will be serving Kings with these top notch allround packages which will surely boost the team performances eventually.
Nicholas Kirton (Canada)
Nicholas Rasheed Kirton is another international signing from Biratnagar Kings franchise who bats left-handed and bowls right arm offspin. He is a Barbadian-born Canadian cricketer who has also played for West Indies Under-19s and Barbados national cricket team.
Kirton has served his facilities in the franchises like Jamaica Tallawahs in the CPL and Montreal Tigers and Toronto Nationals in the GT20 league. He has a strike rate of almost 120 in T20Is averaging 28 runs with the bat. The associate star is all set up to shine in the NPL this season.
Chris Sole (Scotland)
Christopher Barclay Sole is a Scottish cricketer who bowls right arm fast and is currently on the squad of Scotland in the WCL2 league. His father played rugby for Scotland and brother Tom Sole is an allrounder for the Scotland side as well.
Chris has featured for franchises such as Hampshire, Saint Lucia Kings and Sharjah Warriors. He has taken 53 wickets in 31 matches in ODI format and 15 wickets in 17 T20I matches for Scotland.
