Lumbini Lions is all set to start their journey in the inaugural season of NPL with their marquee player as national team captain Rohit Paudel and head coach as Nandan Phadnis. They are ready with their international signings of these quality overseas names:

Ben Cutting (AUS)

Who might not have known about this explosive power striker? At least not the RCB supporters. He is a beast allrounder from Australia known for his game changing clutch moments especially in the franchise cricket like IPL, CPL and so on.

Cutting is a right-handed batsman and right arm fast medium bowler. He has played for more than 20 franchises including multiple teams like KKR, SRH, RR and MI in IPL, CPL franchises and more. 

He bats at the strike rate of 145 in T20s with almost 3000 runs in 212 matches. Not only that, he has grabbed 137 wickets with an average of 32 runs in T20 format. This signing will be a major boost for Lumbini Lions ahead of this season of NPL.

Unmukt Chand (USA)

The former Indian Under-19 captain who led India to the victory in 2012 U19 World Cup moved to the US in 2021 retiring from Indian cricket to pursue opportunities.

Chand is a right-handed top order wicketkeeper batsman who currently plays for the Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League cricket and Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash. He has featured in domestic leagues in India like Ranji Trophy with Uttarakhand and IPL with multiple franchises previously.

He has played 90 matches in T20s with almost 1800 runs by his name averaging 22 with the strike rate of 115. He has 3 centuries and 7 half centuries by his name in the T20 format. Moreover, he is the first Indian player to play in the Big Bash League.

Tom Moores (ENG)

Thomas James Moores is an English cricketer who is a left-handed wicketkeeper batsman and plays for Nottinghamshire. He is a former England Under-19 cricketer who has featured in various major tournaments like Vitality Blast, BPL, The Hundred, LPL and PSL.

Talking about his T20 career, he has featured in almost 150 matches scoring more than 2300 runs with an average of 23.34 at the strike rate of 132. He is a son of former England coach Peter Moores too. 

Ramon Simmonds (WI)

Ramon Romario Simmonds is a Barbadian left-arm medium pacer who has represented West Indies on the Under-19 level and currently plays for Barbados cricket team. He is a 23 year old young pacer from Barbados who has exceptional variations in his bowling including the execution of slower balls and yorkers.

He has 10 wickets in his T20 domestic career in 12 matches including 11 matches in CPL and one of SA20 averaging 28.3 runs with an economy of 8.70. He can be a major boost for Lumbini as a left-arm pacer who has variations in his bowling that can trouble batters on the other end.
