Batting worry continues for Nepal as Oman defeated Nepal by 13 runs in the ongoing ICC World Cup League 2 in USA.

Oman skipper Zeeshan Maqsood was the star performer as he scored a century to keep his team in the game as wickets kept falling at the other end. Maqsood also bagged 3 crucial wickets.

After winning the toss, Oman batted first and finished on 211/8 from 50 overs. Apart from Maqsood, Khawal Ali scored 30 while Shoaib Khan contributed 27 runs. Karan KC was the pick of the bowlers for Nepal as he finished with the figures of 5-38 from his quota of 10 overs.

Nepal in reply were bowled out for 198 runs from 49.4 overs. Aarif Sheikh was the top scorer for Nepal with 66 runs. Dev Khanal made 34 runs. Zeeshan Maqsood and Khawar Ali shared 3 wickets each.
