George Bailey's unbeaten 90 runs of 85 balls helped Australia get past the Srilankan score of 212 on Wednesday to take an unassailable lead of 3-1 with still one last match to be played.

Earlier, Srilanka posted a total of 212-10 with DM De Silva's 76 of 87 balls. Despite Sachith Pathirana's three quick wickets of Warner, Finch and Khawaja, Bailey and Travis Head kept their head cool to see Australia home. Finch scored quick 55 of just 19 balls whereas Head managed to contribute 40 runs before getting out to Perera.

John Hasting was named Man of the Match for his excellent figures of 6-45.

Mathews caught a calf injury while batting and probably won't be available for the last match.

"He's (Mathews) a big loss, he got a calf strain. We miss him. Looking forward to seeing him in South Africa. No, he's not fit for the last game. Has a scan tomorrow. It was a turning point, if we got that wicket we would have had a great chance. Credit to their batters, especially Bailey." - said Dinesh Chandimal.

John Hasting, man of the match said after the match -"Not an easy place to bowl, it's hot and sticky, and uncomfortable. For me, it's very simple, hit a really good area, use the long boundaries and the wind. Had an absence in the one-day side, but happy now with what I provide. Was not the best I've ever bowled, the rhythm was a lot better as the game went on. Means a lot to the boys after losing the Test series."
