Ashwin tested COVID positive, misses flight to England
Indian allrounder Ravichandran Ashwin has been tested positive for COVID-19 and consequently missed the flight to England.
The rescheduled fifth test between India and South Africa will be played from 1st July at Birmingham.
Ashwin will is likely to miss 4 day practice match. However, he may be available for the fifth test match. Ashwin will join the squad in England after meeting all protocol requirements.
India are currently leading the series 2-1 with one last remaining in the series. India and England will also play 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs after the test match.
