Gautam Gambhir an Indian opener batsman and skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is a left handed batsman who is currently out of the Indian team after the failure with bat in 2014 England tour. Recently, he captained the India Blue team in the Dupeep Trophy 2016 and scored the record of four consecutive half centuries in the tournament. Being a consistent performer with bat through out the tournament (Duleep Trophy) and lead the team to win the title, which had raised hope amongs the cricket fans for his come back to the Indian squad against the New Zealand in upcoming Tests but was over looked by the national selectors.

Today Gautam Gambhir took to twiiter to spoke about the biopics made on cricketers. He tweeted, "I don't believe in biopics on cricketers. I think those people who have contributed more to the country than the cricketers deserve a biopic. There are lots of people in the country who have done so many noble deeds for the nation. Therefore, biopics should be made on their lives."
