English club Liverpool and Senegal star forward Sadio Mane has been signed by German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern signed Mane for 31.5 million euros. According to the BBC, Liverpool will receive an additional 6 million euros depending on the number of games they play at Bayern and 3 million euros on individual and team success.

Mane, who played a key role in helping Liverpool win the Champions League and Premier League, also made Senegal the champions of the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in February.

Mane, who joined Liverpool from Southampton in June 2016, has scored 120 goals in 269 games for the club. He scored 23 goals in all competitions last season.

After getting signed by Bundesliaga champions, Mane said :

"I'm very happy to finally be with FC Bayern in Munich. We had a lot of talks and I felt the great interest of this big club from the start. So there was no doubt in my mind right from the start: This is the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve a lot with this club, also internationally."
