After the completion of contract with the Nepali national team, the former Srilankan and Canadian cricketer Pubudu Dasanayake will now join USA national team as a coach.

A huge credit goes to Pubudu for the achievements that Nepal has got from being promoted to Division One from Division Four and playing T20 world cup and defeating Hongkong and Afghanistan. Even after he stepped down as a coach, he joined Nepali national team on their tour to England and home matches against Namibia as a consultant.

"I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to coach USA, especially at what is an exciting time for USA cricket. I believe there is a great deal of talent here; it will just require hard work from everyone involved to get the best out of these players and hopefully see US cricket progress to higher honours." Dassanayake said. He added "Nepal, they were from Division Four to Division One and played a World Cup and I want to do the same for USA."

Eric Parthen has also been appionted as the new Project Manager to oversee the strategic plan to grow cricket in the USA.
