NBA Season Game #1: Walker Kessler

The big headline in the NBA today is about Yaxel vs Luka. Why is no one talking about Walker Kessler?

Walker Kessler had 26 points on 12/12 shooting. 12 out of 12. Kessler was dominating anytime he got in the paint and was massive on as a defensive anchor. If he stays healthy, this might be a candidate for most improved player of the year. Kessler was exposing the horrid paint defense the Warriors have. What a debut to have with Lakers and a large part of it had to due with Luka Doncic setting up him up.

This reminded me of Mavericks Luka where he could get his shot anytime but only chose to pass to get the offense flowing.

Now I don't want to overreact because this is an undermanned Warriors team. It's the same problem they have had every year since their championship.... NO BIG MAN. Kristaps Porzingis was supposed to be this. No that he is already being moved, the Warriors are stuck AGAIN. This team will be terrible on defense  until Jimmy Butler comes back which will add another offensive option and more defense IQ.

Its either Stephen Curry 30 ball or the Warriors will lose vs the top 15-18 teams in the NBA until Jimmy is back. Then maybe. Maybe...
