Polish forward Robert Lewandowski has joined Barcelona from Baryon Munich. Barcelona bought him for 45 million euros. Another 5 million euros is likely to be added to that.

The German club demanded 50 million euros as Bayern still had one year left on his contract. Despite that, the team has agreed to sell Lewandowski for 45 million euros. He signed a 3-year contract with Barcelona. It is said that there is an option to extend the contract for another year.

He will receive approximately 9 million euros per year. Which is equal to the salary he is getting from Bayern. 33-year-old Lewandowski has scored 344 goals in 374 games since joining Baryon in 2014. Last season he scored 50 goals in 46 games.
