While the United States will be aiming to maintain the momentum from the first game, Nepal will be looking for victory. The United States won their first game against Oman by 114 runs, scoring more than 300 runs. Nepal, on the other hand, could not chase the target of 212 runs against Oman.
Nepal needs to show some positive intent as far as the batting department is concerned. Regular opening pair of Aasif Sheikh and Kushal Bhurtel are injured during training in the United States. Sunil Dhamal and Subash Khakurel were seen opening the innings in the first match agains Oman but the duo couldn't trouble the scorers much.
Aarif Sheikh scored 66 runs in first match and apart from him none of the batsmen provided significant contribution. Aasif and Kushal Bhurtel are still in doubt for today's game. It will be really interesting to see what will be the batting approach of the team.
