Big Blow For Australia, Mitchell Starc Ruled Out Of The Series

After the recent controversy of Smith and Peter Handscomb, the big blow for the Australian Cricket is their fast bowler Mitchell Starc who had been ruled out of the Test match series against the India. Starc who plays a vital role in lower down the order as a batsman will be missed more apart from being a fast bowler. Starc absence will be a massive blow to the Australians. Starc joins the all-rounder Mitchell Marsh to be ruled out of the series.

Mitchell Starc has been sent back to home after the stress fracture of his right foot. Today, Starc experienced the pain in his right foot and after the bone scan in Bengaluru and the result showed the fracture.

The Australian team physiotherapist David Beakley said, "Mitchell experienced some pain in his right foot during the second Test in Bangalore which unfortunately had not subsided a few days after the Test as we had hoped.”

Cricket Australia reported, "We made the decision to scan his foot in Bangalore this morning and unfortunately it has revealed a stress fracture."
